The J23B hood features a 3D ridge that keeps its lower (collar) portion upright and laterally stable independent of the front zipper being closed. This folds the hood in half when not being worn - keeping it’s volume low, close, and stable at speed. It maintains this stability even when the front zipper is open for venting.
