Our mission

Antithesis opened at 1 Rivington in New York City in Nov 2020 with intentions of bringing a unique vision of retail to the forefront after the founders' many collective years in various roles within the fashion industry. Antithesis strives to shift the focus onto the product themselves and the respective designs, as opposed to strictly checking off brands and relying on a redundant stocklist. This product-driven mentality is the critical factor that differentiates Antithesis from most current retailers—which consequently translates to the customer. But as an extremely tight-knit retailer with such a specific and niche scope, a necessary balance is required to thrive. Due to the limited physical retail capacity, Antithesis is able to offer its unique approach to the end consumer with a calculated and thoughtfully curated group of brands that not only specializes in their own aesthetic, but can also cohesively sit alongside each other.
