Paisley pattern occupies a unique place in modern society as it is arguably the only graphic pattern that represents suit-and-tie formal attire as well as street gang signifiers respectively.

We thought the duality of paisleys was something we should incorporate into our graphic language as a project that is inspired by capitalism and finance yet at the same time belongs to the “streetwear” realm by traditional categorization.

The tulip motif is applied inside the teardrop shape to represent our brand identity and the objective was to create something that exists in the middle of the abovementioned duality of the pattern so that it could be worn by finance bros and gangsters – a visual double entendre.
