Specificity is fragile. J132-SS is a fully realized, all-season softshell jacket engineered for consistency and comfort across a wide range of conditions. Built from 1140g of schoeller® WB-400™ it combines the resilient barrier necessary for it to operate as an outer layer with the comfort and warmth that one seeks from a mid layer to be worn under a shell.
The feature set is minimal and intentional. Two lower TensionZip hand pockets and two internal holster pockets keep one’s essentials accessible and secure. SpeedLockǽ shock cord hem to seal in precious warmth and to sculpt shape. Semi-internal JacketSlingǽ allows for convenient hands-free carry when off-body.
J132-SS introduces a newly designed funnel hood, removable via five precisely placed metal snaps that integrate with the bomber style collar with just the right amount of accentuation. When worn extended, snap buttons allow one to close the full circumference of the visor locking in coverage to protect from the elements. Fold the visor back for improved peripheral vision. When the hood is worn down, the visor takes on the role of an extended protective collar. Powerstretch acoustic panels on both sides allow for optimal sonic awareness.
